Why Only Partly?

Because effective business solutions require more than technology - they involve plans, procedures, people, communication and technology all focused on your organizational objectives. We offer complete services to coordinate all of the factors involved in the successful use of technology. Also, we offer our services on a cost-effective, part-time basis, - so our services are only Partly Technical.

Although Partly Technical was founded in 2003, the principal partners have more than 20 years experience using their skills in businesses, nonprofit organizations and government agencies:

Doug Yost

President,

Technology & Business Services

Doug is both a technology and a business manager who has been very successful at integrating technical solutions with business functions. Formally trained in administration and sociology as well as experienced with technology, he is well positioned to facilitate both the business objectives and human development of technical projects.

He has been a Certified Computing Professional since 1991, with specialties in management and in procedural programming. He has successfully completed more than 8 major conversion projects and served as data base administrator and systems administrator for many of these systems.

Barbara Yost

Communications services

Barbara is an award-winning communications/public relations professional. She has promoted and counseled businesses, cultural organizations and government agencies as well as serving in leadership positions among her colleagues.

She is experienced in communications related to computer conversions, and organizational changes such as start-ups, construction projects, reorganizations and turn-arounds. She has served as a crisis communicator during a federal disaster flood and on the public information team that dealt with the Columbine incident.
